US researchers have created a nano-fiber textile that harvests energy from movement, paving the way for clothing that could one day power an iPod or other wearable electronic devices, according to a study published Wednesday.Using the same mechanical principle as a self-winding watch, but on scale measured in billionths of a meter, tiny nano-generators can scavenge “wasted” energy from sound waves, vibrations, or even the human heart beat.

Did you upgrade your iPod touch? Many people did presuming it was optional. People who have chosen not to upgrade are saying they’re being hounded by iTunes. They say that every time they connect their iPod to iTunes for syncing, they’re getting a message that says “buy the upgrade” that only has an OK button. When you click it, it brings you to the iTunes page for buying the upgrade. Has this been happening to you? Do you feel like your being forced into buying the upgrade? Leave us comments.

Flash Support Comming Soon?

iPhone FlashWe have all been waiting for Flash support to come to the iPhone ever since it launched. We have had to go without Flash for way to long, and YouTube even had to convert much of their videos to H.264 in order for people to use YouTube on the iPhone. One of our sources is telling us that Flash support is on its way to the iPhone, and it should be coming soon. Now if you ask me, I think that Apple is planning on releasing Flash support alongside the iPhone SDK which, personally, I cant wait for.

iPod Classic Firmware Update Might Damage Headphones

iPod ClassicSome iPod Classic owners who installed the recently released 1.1 firmware are reporting that their iPods are sending electrical pulses through the headphone jack and docking port, even when the units are turned off. The pulses, estimated to be 500mv worth of DC, may be enough to damage equipment that is plugged in.

iPhone Nano and iPhone Shuffle Coming Soon?

iPhone Nano

Rumors has it that we’ll be seeing an iPhone Nano this year.

The nano is supposed to have:

  • 2.75 inc display
  • Multi-touch screen
  • Doesn’t have internet capabilities
  • 4 or 8 GB

It should also be a lot cheaper than the original/mother iPhone.

Meanwhile, there’s no word yet on what the iPhone shuffle would be like.
